For a professional with healthcare background (MD/RN); which SAP functional module would you recommend ?
Also what is the time line for becoming an expert in a functional module of SAP including the internship and all.I think that healthcare background is not particularly relevant for any functional SAP module. So, you can choose any module that you find interesting. For example, if you’re interested in finance, go for FI or CO. If you are interested in supply chain, go for MM, APO or SD. Also, have a look at this post: how to choose SAP module.
Normally, an intensive course in any functional SAP module takes two weeks of full-time training. Obviously, you will not be an expert after completing the training and be only fit for junior positions. To become an expert, you need to work for at least 5-6 years as an SAP consultant.
