SAP Training in Dubai

SAP has some big strategic investment plan for SAP training in Dubai, the Middle East and North Africa as it announced that it will open a training and development institute at the Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) to educate local talent and boost innovation in this region. The goal is to certify 2,000 new SAP consultants in the market during four years times. This ambitious plan means that SAP wants to triple the existing consulting capabilities in Dubai.

With cutting-edge IT infrastructure and 100% owned by the government of Dubai, the Dubai Silicon Oasis is easily accessible from around the world and throughout the Middle East and North Africa. The IT complex is just 15 minutes from the Dubai International Airport and occupies 7.2 square kilometers. It includes state-of-the-art office buildings, research and development (R&D) and industrial zones, educational institutions, luxury apartments, villas and hotels, healthcare offices and a full range of lifestyle facilities.

Plans for SAP training in Dubai were initially discussed in March 2012 as part of a 4 year additional investment plan to drive innovation in Dubai. SAP wants the institute to train skilled SAP talent that will help the company extend the localization of its solutions to satisfy ever-growing regional requirements. Furthermore, there will be strong connections with the SAP University Alliances program, which delivers hands-on experience with key SAP technologies at 27 institutions across  the Middle East and North Africa – a number set to grow rapidly in the next 4 years. The SAP University Alliances program not only offers SAP training in Dubai, but also supports students to collaborate throughout a network of global universities and helping fresh graduates to find their first SAP jobs.

SAP selected the Dubai Silicon Oasis location for its combination of technological resources, geographic convenience and educationally rich environment, making it the perfect setting to also support SAP training in Dubai in areas such as mobile, SAP BI, the SAP HANA platform, SAP MM, cloud, SAP SD, urban management, SAP FI, smart city functionality and Islamic banking. The SAP institute is also meant to support countries across the Middle East and North Africa region, with the possibility to establish  operations in key SAP markets such as Saudi Arabia.

    • You can find the fees and everything on the SAP website I provided above. You have asked a very general question, you received a very general answer. Please be more specific and explain your situation. For example, you can start by telling where do you live, are you interested in SAP training or SAP certification, at which level, and so on.

And as per certification - do I take test with the same organization that provides training, or are there only certain places where i can get certification and where?

    • The best training provider in Dubai is probably SAP Education. Google their website. You can write certification exam only at SAP Education or Pearson VUE certification centers.
