I want to be able to calculate duration of operations say machine time but this standard value will not be used for costing. I just need to calculate the duration for capacity requirement considerations. How should I approach this, step by step?

Hi,

Technically you can create a work center without assigning any costing in it (cost center/ activity).
You will not get planned costs and actual costs when you perform production cycle and creation the settlement.
