SAP AG today announced it has been named the overall market share leader in the worldwide enterprise resource planning (ERP) market. According to the 24 April 2012 report issued by Gartner: “Market Share Analysis: ERP Software, Worldwide, 2011”, SAP ranks number one, with 25.5% share of the worldwide market based on revenue for 2011, reflecting a 13.2% growth from 2010.
