For some materials we want them to be sold mandatory via a sales contract. So we want to indicate in the material if it can be sold only via a sales contract and a check at order line level during sales order entry that for thoise materials a sales contractr is specified.

Is this existing functionalyity in sap (and how to do this) or does this requires customisation ?

Can this be done with an exit program or badi ?

We have already an existing classificqation at material level to indicate if a material needs to be ordered via a sales contract or not. Implementing an exit program or badi at order entry – order line level validation to check if a sales contract is present when the material has a classification indicating a sales contract is required can be a solution in this case. Am i right?
