I have two components for a finished product – e.g. shade and fixture and when shipping/sales to customers it should be on separate cartons/boxes. IT currently showing only 1 and should be 2. Where do I need to maintain this

You first need to set up packaging materials and create master records for each type of cartons/boxes as necessary. Then, you can set up packaging instructions that will tell the system what should be packed in which box.
