If you like programming, go for ABAP. If you are more into system administration, then BASIS is the best option. If you would like to become SAP FI/CO consultant, then it is nice to have some knowledge of accounting and finance. By the way, SAP also has an industry solution for banking. It is called “SAP for Banking” (Google for it). However, I think that you should still first learn SAP FI to work with this industry solution.

It depends on how much time and money you need to invest in learning IFRS. It is always beneficial for SAP consultants to have some background in business related aspects of their SAP module. For example, MM consultants should have understanding about warehouse and logistics business processes. And, FI consultants should know accounting processes and financial reporting.
As you are working as an FI consultant now, you should be able to see if you are missing knowledge of IFRS to perform your job or get new project assignments. I think that you should make your decision based on this understanding and trends in your business environment.
Hi, the only recognized SAP certification is from SAP SE itself. But certification is not the most important thing in your profile. The most important thing is your knowledge of SAP. So, if this college has great teaching records, then you might consider it as an option.
I don’t think that you need SAP certification if you want to find a position of an HR professional. The certification is not useful unless you would like to work as an SAP consultant. If you are still interested in SAP, then you should take a look at HCM (Human Capital Management) module.
